Why aren’t more participants finding my NDIS business?
Most NDIS providers aren't short of people looking for support. In Adelaide, searches for an NDIS provider or support coordination add up to about 840 a month, and even in Cairns it's about 120. What goes wrong is what a family or coordinator finds when they look you up, and whether it's clear enough to refer. Fixing that takes marketing matched to the size of your NDIS business, done in the right order.
What's going wrong now
- Every referral comes from two or three coordinators
- Enquiries from outside your area, for supports you don’t run
- New therapists and support workers on half-empty rosters
- Referrals lost to voicemail while the team is on shift
What our clients get
- Referrals from more coordinators, and families who find you
- Enquiries for the supports you deliver, where you deliver them
- A full roster for every person you hire
- Every referral in front of intake the same day
We can't promise you a number of new participants. No one honestly can. This is what we see again and again with past clients.
Case study · A chiropractor in Mackay
Our nearest proof: a chiropractor in Mackay went from 5.9 to 9.3 online bookings a day
It's a chiropractic practice, not an NDIS provider, but the path is the one your participants and coordinators take: find the business on Google Maps, check the website, then get in touch. With three chiropractors it was already on rung two and running Google Ads. We rebuilt the website, linked every service to the Google profile, and left the Google Ads exactly as they were.
- Online bookings a day
5.99.3First 10 days after launch - Completed online bookings
292351Six weeks before and after launch - Cost per booking from Google Ads
$15.62$13.82Same ads, same $2,558 spend
They'd been paying for SEO before the rebuild. The new website did so well that they stopped the SEO, as we recommend on rung two, then got so busy they cut back their Google Ads too.
First, an NDIS website that brings in referrals
Coordinators, families and Google all judge you by your website, so it comes first, with your Google Business Profile linked to it. For most NDIS providers with one or two therapists or coordinators, those two are all the marketing they need, so that’s usually where we start. On the call we confirm it, because every NDIS business is different and there are exceptions.
A page for every support
Support coordination, community access, daily living, therapy supports and SIL each get a page on who it suits and how intake works.
Learn moreEvery region on Google Maps
Your Google Business Profile links to a page for each region you travel to, so families find the team that actually covers their suburb.
Learn moreA referral form coordinators use
Coordinators send a participant's details in two minutes, with funding type, region and the support needed, straight to your intake team.
Learn moreHonest about registration
Registered or not, the website says so plainly, never claims “NDIS approved”, and uses the NDIS logo only the way the NDIA allows.
Easy for everyone to read
Plain language, strong contrast and keyboard-friendly pages built to the WCAG accessibility guidelines, so participants and carers can use the site themselves.

When a family asks ChatGPT for an NDIS provider nearby, AI SEO gives it clear facts about your supports and regions.

Once your website is live
More NDIS marketing services we provide
Once referrals arrive through the website, four more services build on it. Google Ads fills the roster of each therapist or coordinator you add, and SEO comes in when you add another support type or start in a new region.
Google Ads for NDIS providers
Searches like “support coordination Adelaide”, sent to the support you have room for this month and paused when rosters are full.
NDIS SEO
More support and region pages, for when you add SIL or therapy, or open in a second region.
Google Maps care for NDIS providers
Posts, photos and replies that keep each region's profile active, with reviews asked for the right way.
AI SEO for NDIS providers
Every new page gives ChatGPT and Google's AI more to say about the supports you deliver and where.
What to pay for, and when
The New Patient Growth Ladder for NDIS providers
One or two therapists or coordinators? A website linked to Google Maps usually covers everything you need. Hiring more staff who need full rosters? Add Google Ads. Adding another support type or a new region? Add SEO.
- 2+ support types and/or 2+ regionsRung 3: + SEO
- 3+ therapists or coordinatorsRung 2: + Google Ads
- 1–2 therapists or coordinatorsRung 1: Website + Google MapsStart here
AI SEO comes built into the rung one website and gets stronger on rung three. Being registered or unregistered doesn't change your rung, only what the website says. On the call we confirm which rung your NDIS business is on, because there are always exceptions.
How it works for NDIS providers
- Step 1
Book your New Patient Growth Call
Thirty minutes on Zoom. We look at your website and Google profile the way a support coordinator would, check what ChatGPT says about you, and confirm your rung.
- Step 2
Get your plan
The next steps for your rung and what they cost. If your NDIS business doesn't need us, you'll hear that from us. Then you decide.
- Step 3
We interview you, then build
About an hour on your supports, regions, intake and registration, then we write and build it. Live in about 30 days, and you approve every page.
- Step 4
Watch referrals, then climb
See referrals and enquiries come in. Add Google Ads when you add therapists or coordinators, and SEO when you add a support type or region.
Why NDIS providers work with us
We start with your supports
We interview you, so every page says what you deliver, who it suits and where your team travels, in the words you use with families.
Written inside the NDIS rules
Every page and ad follows the NDIS Code of Conduct and the NDIA's logo guidelines: accurate registration claims, no “NDIS approved”, and no pressure on participants.
Measured in referrals
You see referrals and new service agreements by support and by region, not clicks and rankings.
Only what your NDIS business needs
Two coordinators and a full caseload? We'll tell you to fix the website and stop there. No Google Ads or SEO until you need them.
Works with your NDIS software
Referrals go to the inbox or system your intake team already uses, whether that's ShiftCare, Brevity, Lumary or Splose.
Built for the coordinator's check
Coordinators look you up before they refer. Your supports, regions, registration and referral form sit one click from every page.
NDIS marketing questions providers ask
How much does marketing an NDIS business cost?
It depends on which services your NDIS business needs, and that only becomes clear once we've looked, so we work it out with you on a free New Patient Growth Call. Most NDIS providers with one or two therapists or coordinators only need rung one: a website and Google Maps, paid once. Google Ads and SEO are paid monthly, so we hold them back until your rosters need them.
Do NDIS providers need SEO or Google Ads?
Not yet, if you have one or two therapists or coordinators working in one region: Google Maps and a website coordinators trust bring in most direct referrals. Google Ads fits when you hire more staff and need their rosters filled. SEO fits when you add another support type, such as SIL or therapy, or start in a second region. That rule is the New Patient Growth Ladder, and we confirm your rung on the call.
How do I get more NDIS participants without relying on support coordinators?
Give families a way to find and choose you directly, and give more coordinators a reason to refer. Families search Google and Google Maps for the support and the suburb, so each support and region needs its own page and profile. Coordinators want the same facts fast: what you deliver, where, whether you have capacity, and how to refer. When the website answers both, referrals stop depending on two or three people.
We're an unregistered NDIS provider. Will marketing still work?
Yes, for the participants you can serve. Agency-managed participants can only use registered providers, while plan-managed and self-managed participants can choose unregistered providers for most supports. So an unregistered NDIS provider's website should say clearly who it works with, and the ads and pages should aim at plan-managed and self-managed families. That saves you enquiries you'd have to turn away.
Can we call ourselves a registered NDIS provider, or use the NDIS logo?
Only if you're on the NDIS Commission's register. The NDIS logo is an NDIA trademark, so no provider can use it without written consent, and only registered providers can use the “registered provider” tagline logos. Claims like “NDIS approved” or “100% NDIS funded” are likely to breach the Australian Consumer Law. We write registration and funding statements to match exactly what's true for your NDIS business.
Can we share participant stories or testimonials?
With care. The NDIS Code of Conduct and the Australian Consumer Law require honest, accurate claims, and a participant's story is personal information, so you need their informed, written consent and the right to withdraw it. If your therapists are AHPRA-registered, testimonials about their clinical care can't be used at all. We lean on what's always allowed: your team, your supports, your regions and how intake works.
Do you work with ShiftCare, Brevity or Lumary?
Yes. NDIS providers keep the system they already run, whether that's ShiftCare, Brevity, Lumary, Splose or another. We change what comes before it: the website, the referral form and the Google profile. Referrals arrive at your intake team with the participant's region, funding type and the support they need, so nobody has to chase the details.
How long before my NDIS business gets more referrals?
That depends on the service. A new website shows up fast: the Mackay chiropractor's online bookings rose from 5.9 to 9.3 a day in the first 10 days. Google Ads work from the day they start. Google Maps and SEO build over months. We can't promise a number of new participants, and no one honestly can. But this is what we see again and again with past clients.
What happens on the New Patient Growth Call?
Thirty minutes on Zoom with Marlon. We look at your NDIS business the way a coordinator does: what Google Maps and ChatGPT show, whether your supports and regions are clear, and how easy it is to refer. You leave knowing your rung and the next step for your NDIS business, whether or not that's with us.
Book your New Patient Growth Call
In 30 minutes we assess your NDIS business and give you the next best step to more participants: whether your website is ready to take referrals, whether your Google Maps profile is set up, and whether you need Google Ads or SEO yet.
