Osteopathy Marketing That Wins the Back Pain Bookings
We help osteopathy practices turn people searching for back pain, neck pain and headaches into new patients, with the right marketing for the size of the practice.

Why are back pain patients booking the physio instead of my osteopathy practice?
Most osteopathy practices in Australia lose new patients for the same four reasons, and a lack of searches isn't one of them. In Melbourne alone, "osteo near me" is searched about 5,400 times a month, and even in Traralgon people look for an osteopath about 320 times a month. The fix is explaining osteopathy clearly, then the right marketing for your size.
What's going wrong now
- Patients don't know what an osteo does
- Paying for SEO or Google Ads, few bookings to show
- Unsure what the Board lets your website say
- A new osteopath's diary still half empty
What our clients get
- Patients who understand osteopathy, and book it
- You know what every new patient costs you
- Every page checked against the Board's examples
- A full diary for every osteopath you add
We can't promise a number of new patients, because no one can. This is what we see again and again with past clients.
Case study · A chiropractor in Mackay
Our nearest proof: a chiropractor in Mackay went from 5.9 to 9.3 online bookings a day
It's a chiropractic practice, not osteopathy, but it competes for the same back pain, neck pain and headache searches, and its patients book the same way: Google Maps, then online. With three chiropractors it was already on rung two and running Google Ads. We rebuilt the website, linked every service to the Google profile, and left the Google Ads exactly as they were.
- Online bookings a day
5.99.3First 10 days after launch - Completed online bookings
292351Six weeks before and after launch - Cost per booking from Google Ads
$15.62$13.82Same ads, same $2,558 spend
They'd been paying for SEO before the rebuild. The new website did so well that they stopped the SEO, as we recommend on rung two, then got so busy they cut back their Google Ads too.
First, an osteopathy website that explains you and books new patients
Your website and the Google Business Profile linked to it are the base every other service stands on. With one or two osteopaths, that pair usually brings in enough new patients on its own, so it's where we normally begin. The call confirms it, since some osteopathy practices don't fit the pattern.
A page for every complaint
Lower back pain, neck pain, tension headaches, sciatica, desk strain and pregnancy back pain each get their own page, written for the person searching it.
Learn moreGoogle Maps, linked page by page
Every service on your Google Business Profile links to its matching page, so you show up when someone nearby searches the problem.
Learn moreWhat an osteo does, in plain words
Each page tells a first-timer what happens in an osteopathy appointment and how it differs from physio or chiro, without knocking either.
Learn moreInside AHPRA's osteopathy examples
No “specialist”, nothing non-musculoskeletal, no infant check-ups. Every line is checked against AHPRA’s examples before it goes live.
Booked into the right appointment
New patients book straight into Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy or your own system, with an initial consult or a pregnancy appointment already chosen.

Once your website is live
More osteopathy marketing services we provide
After the website starts taking bookings, we also run Google Ads, SEO, Google Maps care and AI SEO for osteopathy practices. Each one has a trigger: Google Ads when you add osteopaths, SEO when you add another discipline or clinic.
Google Ads for osteopaths
Ads on back pain, neck pain and headache searches that fill the diary of each osteopath you add.
Osteopathy SEO
More complaints and more suburbs covered once you add massage, Pilates or a second clinic.
Google Maps care for osteopaths
Fresh photos, posts and a steady flow of reviews about your clinic, never about treatment results.
AI SEO for osteopaths
Every new page helps ChatGPT and Google's AI explain osteopathy, and point people to you.
What to pay for, and when
The New Patient Growth Ladder for osteopaths
With one or two osteopaths, a website linked to Google Maps is most of the time all you need. Bringing on more osteopaths? That's when Google Ads earns its place, filling their diaries. Adding massage, Pilates or a second location? That's when SEO does.
- 2+ disciplines and/or 2+ clinicsRung 3: + SEO
- 3+ osteopathsRung 2: + Google Ads
- 1–2 osteopathsRung 1: Website + Google MapsStart here
AI SEO comes with rung one and grows on rung three. The ladder is the rule, and on the call we confirm which rung your osteopathy practice is on, because there are always exceptions.

We show you the next steps for your rung and what they cost. If you don't need us, we'll say so. Then you decide.
- Step 3

About an hour on how you treat and who you see most, then we write and build it. Live in about 30 days, and you sign off every page.

Watch bookings, then climb
See your online bookings come in. Add Google Ads when you add osteopaths, and SEO when you add disciplines or clinics.
Why osteopaths work with us
Your way of treating, explained
We interview you first, so patients read how you actually assess and treat, in words a first-timer understands.
Written inside the Board's rules
Every page, ad and review request follows AHPRA's advertising examples for osteopaths: no clinical testimonials, no specialist claims, musculoskeletal conditions only.
Measured in bookings
You see how many new patients booked and what each one cost, not rankings and clicks.
Only what your practice needs
A one-osteopath clinic hears it's on rung one. We won't pitch Google Ads or SEO before your practice is ready for them.
Works with your booking system
Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy, Splose, Zanda, Coreplus or whatever your clinic runs on.
You own everything
Your website, its pages and your Google profile are yours. Nothing is locked to us.
Osteopathy marketing questions practice owners ask
How much does osteopathy marketing cost?
It depends on which services your osteopathy practice needs, and we only know that once we've looked, so we work it out with you on a free New Patient Growth Call. Most practices with one or two osteopaths need rung one only: a website and Google Maps, paid once. Google Ads and SEO are monthly, and we suggest them only when your practice is ready.
Do I need SEO or Google Ads for my osteopathy clinic?
Usually not yet. An osteopathy clinic with one or two osteopaths at one address gets most new patients from Google Maps and the website behind it. Google Ads makes sense when you add osteopaths and need their diaries filled. SEO makes sense when you add massage, Pilates or a second clinic. That's the New Patient Growth Ladder, and the call confirms which rung you're on.
How do I compete with physios and chiros for back pain patients?
Explain what an osteopath does before the patient has to ask. About 1,600 Australians a month search “osteopath vs physio”, which tells you how many people don't know the difference. We write pages that describe your assessment, what a first appointment involves and how osteopathy differs from physio and chiro, without claiming to be better. A patient who understands your approach books with confidence.
How do I get found when people search back pain, not “osteopath”?
Build a page for each complaint. “Lower back pain” is searched about 14,800 times a month in Australia and “tension headache” about 8,100, far more than any osteopath search. A page for each complaint, written for the person with the problem and linked to your Google profile, puts your osteopathy practice in front of them on Google Maps, in search and in AI answers.
Can I say I treat babies or pregnant women?
You can say what you treat, within the Board's limits. AHPRA's osteopathy examples accept back pain and other pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain, but not claims about morning sickness or shorter labour. They don't accept claims that checking newborns' or children's spines prevents illness, or non-musculoskeletal conditions in a list. We write pregnancy and children's pages to that line, so they still bring in bookings without the risk.
Can I call myself a specialist or put reviews on my website?
No to both. AHPRA says there are no recognised specialist categories in osteopathy, so “specialist”, “specialises in” and “specialised” are out; “a particular interest in” is the wording it suggests. Testimonials about symptoms, treatment or results are banned, though comments about parking or the waiting room are fine. We build your review requests and Google Maps care around that.
Do you work with Cliniko, Nookal or Halaxy?
Yes. We work with every booking system osteopathy practices use, including Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy, Splose, Zanda and Coreplus. Patients still book in your system. We change what happens before it, so a new patient lands in the right appointment, whether that's an initial consultation, a pregnancy appointment or a GP chronic condition plan visit.
How long before my osteopathy practice sees more bookings?
It depends on which service. Bookings can rise within days of a new website going live; the Mackay chiropractor went from 5.9 to 9.3 a day in the first 10 days. Google Ads work from the day they start. Google Maps and SEO build over months. We can't promise a number of new patients, because no one can. But this is what we see again and again with past clients.
What happens on the New Patient Growth Call?
Thirty minutes on Zoom with Marlon. We look at your osteopathy practice the way a new patient finds it: what Google Maps and ChatGPT show, then your website and how booking works. Then we tell you which rung of the ladder you're on and your next step. If you don't need us, we'll say so.
Book your New Patient Growth Call
In 30 minutes we assess your osteopathy practice and give you the next best step to more bookings: whether your website is ready to take them, whether your Google Maps profile is set up, and whether you need Google Ads or SEO yet.
